New Avatar Functionality Coming For Kinect

Microsoft is gearing up to announce a new avatar based service with the structure of Xbox Live that deals exclusively with Kinect. This, as we like to call it, 'Big Ol Poster' is set up at the CES in Las Vegas.

Microsoft is gearing up to announce a new avatar based service with the structure of Xbox Live that deals exclusively with Kinect.  This, as we like to call it, ‘Big Ol Poster‘ (although it’s more likely a screen of some sort)  is set up at the CES in Las Vegas.

It could be many things but for now, many believe it will be a forthcoming software update.  Perhaps this is Microsoft’s first jab at a service similar to PlayStation Home.

Official confirmation of what this actually is will be coming down the pipe this Wednesday when Microsoft gives the CES keynote speech which will be broadcast LIVE.
