Not too long ago, we covered the fact that there was a rumor that Final Fantasy XIII was coming to PCs. The whole rumor was being propagated due to a printing on a poster of Final Fantasy XIII with the Steam logo on the bottom. Many people brushed it off as a printing error and that such an occurrence has happened before with no fruits bared for PC gamers.
It seems, however, that this time Square Enix didn’t make a mistake. Final Fantasy XIII has officially been announced for PC and will be hitting Steam, Square Enix’s own online store and other download services on October 9th at the price of $15.99. You can apparently shave 10% of that off if you pre-order it now. The two other games in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy will be available some time in the spring of next year.
