Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire released just over two months ago world wide and very recently a special distribution event was being held online, starting first of all in Japan. Most recently it branched to Europe and Australia, but no word came on if it would be coming to the US anytime soon. However, while Nintendo hasn’t announced anything at all, the Mystery Gift code for the special event Serperior is now live in the US, according to some attentive gamers on Reddit.
Unlike the usual Mystery Gift distribution events that have you going to a store like GameStop or just simply downloading by going to wifi on Mystery Gift, this special Serperior actually requires a code to obtain. By going to Mystery Gift after the title screen in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, choose receive gift and then the fourth option that says “Get With Code.” As per usual, you can then obtain the Pokemon from the delivery girl inside any Pokemon Center.
After choosing this, it will prompt you to enter a code, where you should input “pokemon497” and hit enter. This code corresponds with Serperior’s Pokedex number 497, coming from the fifth generation of Pokemon with Black and White. This Serperior is quite strong at Level 50 with the hidden ability Contrary as well.
There is always the chance that this code went live early for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and won’t be working later, but it definitely is usable at the time of this posting in the US.
