Even though an Uncharted Trilogy on PS4 has not been announced by Naughty Dog, a retailer has listed its existence.
A Swiss online retailer called CeDe has listed an Uncharted Trilogy for PS4. The listing even has boxart and the game is called “Uncharted: The Remastered Trilogy”.
Since Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until Spring 2016, an Uncharted Trilogy on PS4 might be Naughty Dog’s answer to fill the void. CeDe has listed a placeholder release date of September 30th, 2015 for the game.
The product description for the Uncharted Trilogy on PS4 is simple. CeDe just wrote: “Uncharted 1-3 in HD! More information soon!” This might be a clue that Naughty Dog has plans to announce the game officially very soon. It’s possible they were saving it for E3 this year.
An Uncharted Trilogy on PS4 is very feasible. Sony is already releasing God of War 3 Remastered on PS4 later this year. The company also released The Last of Us Remastered on PS4 last year too.
The main reason Sony and Naughty Dog would release an Uncharted Trilogy on PS4 is to attract people that missed the game on PS3. A number of PS4 owners only had an Xbox 360 and/or Wii console previously. These owners will now be able to play the whole trilogy if this listing turns out to be true.
