Update: The Warner Bros. announcement could actually be for a LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens game and not Batman vs Superman.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has sent out an email revealing that it will make a massive announcement tomorrow on “two of the world’s most popular entertainment brands“. Will we be getting a Batman vs Superman video game after all?

Journalist, Paul Tamburro, shared the email he received via Twitter. It could be related to the DC universe considering how Warner Bros. is marketing its films really hard with Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad both coming out later this year.

The email said:Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is making a massive announcement tomorrow, Feb. 2 at 6a.m. PST that includes two of the world’s most popular entertainment brands. We can’t share any more details until then due to the sensitivity of the announcement, but keep an eye on your email inbox for the press release as this is one piece of news you and your readers won’t want to miss

A far-fetched idea could be a LEGO crossover game featuring both DC and Marvel characters. Warner Bros. has developed LEGO games featuring characters from both properties in the past so it’s a possibility if DC and Marvel both agree on it.

Something related to Batman, Superman or the Justice League might be more feasible at this point. Hopefully we get something decent featuring Superman as outside of the LEGO franchise, the character has yet to star in a decent video game of his own.
