The Division Guide: What to Do When your Stash is Full

Tom Clancy’s The Division is all about loot, and all of the best loot in the game can be found in the Dark Zone. Of course, to get it out of there, you need to extract it. And if you want to extract it, you’d better hope your stash isn’t full. If it is, you are pretty much stuck, without the ability to extract stuff out of the Dark Zone. At this point, anything you have on you is a lost cause, so just come to terms with losing it, and head out of the Dark Zone. After that, just follow this quick guide on what to do when your stash is full in The Division.

Your Stash contains all of the weapons, gear, and random items that you have extracted during your time in The Division’s Dark Zone. Everything heads directly here, and it stays there until you go and take care of it. In total, 30 items can remain in here. This means that if you’ve pulled off five full extractions in the Dark Zone, your stash is going to be full. If you’re getting close to five extractions, whether they were for the full six items or not, you probably want to take a break and handle your stash.

Essentially, you need to do the same thing in your stash as you do to your regular inventory. Open it up and either grab items out that you want to keep, or deconstruct it if you don’t. To do this, just hit X on PC to deconstruct (check the bottom of the screen on consoles).

Doing this to a few items will give you crafting materials for use elsewhere, but it will also clear up room in your stash. Be sure to do this at certain intervals, as you don’t want to get stuck having to destroy a really nice piece of equipment in The Division’s Dark Zone.
