While card games might not be the first thing you would think of when considering spin-offs for From Software’s Souls series, the most recent entry in the series will be getting just that. Board and card game designer Eric Lang has announced he is making a Bloodborne card game.

He made the announcement on Twitter today, revealing that “Bloodborne is indeed licensed. It is a simple but highly deep and interactive card game.” CMONGames will be the ones distributing it once it is ready.

Lang describes the Bloodborne card game as a “risk management with a bit of groupthink, inventory management/upgrades and tactical play in an intense 30 minute card game.” It was apparently heavily inspired by the main game’s Chalice Dungeons.

No news yet on when the card game will be released, but stay tuned for when that information becomes available. You can check out the box of the game via the image below.
