Square Enix recently revealed a trailer for Final Fantasy 15‘s upcoming Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event set to open on January 24.

In the new trailer accompanied by music reminiscing the romantic city of Venice, Italy Prince Noctis arrives in Altissia looking a bit surprised, “What the hell is this place?”  The city has been clearly re-decorated with yellow balloons and colorful confetti, while Moogles and Chocobos are roaming about the area.  Noctis is seen wearing a Chocobo themed shirt and a Moogle hat inside the carnival.  In addition, it appears new desserts have been added to the menu like the ‘Kupoberry Cheesecake’ and a Chocobo themed cheesecake as well.  Noctis can also be seen striking a pose with a Chocobo and Moogle, not to mention taking photos and fishing.  Stroll through the beautiful city on a romantic yacht ride during the day or evening time.

With that being said, mini games are back! From shooting challenges to Chocobo racing as seen in Final Fantasy 7, fans will have plenty of things to do and explore in this special event. Players will receive exclusive outfits like a Moogle t-shirt and other goodies for a limited time.

Originally known as Final Fantasy Versus 13 back in 2006 part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series, the game was rebranded and redesigned as Final Fantasy 15, not to mention the decade long wait on top of that, causing a mixed reaction from fans.  However, now that the wait is finally over, players can enjoy the vast amount of content the game has to offer as Director Hajime Tabata and crew are working hard at Square Enix to bring a satisfying experience for all.  Final Fantasy 15 is available now for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

What are you looking forward to the most at the carnival?
