Dragon Ball FighterZ has been a huge success for Bandai Namco both critically and commercially. However, the launch has not been without its problems as players have been having a number of issues that pertain to online play.

More specifically, the most complained about issues are in Ring Matches and disconnection issues when playing the game online. The developers have recently revealed that they will be issuing a patch for the game that should alleviate these issues shortly.  The fixes will come in different patches that arrive in February and March.

Tomoko Hiroki, Producer on Dragon Ball FighterZ has responded to these complaints in a video that confirms the roadmap for patches in the game for 2018.

Hiroki says, “We’re aware of the situation, and keen to resolve them with all our might. In order to resolve these issues, we’re planning to release a patch in late-February. However, please bare in mind that this first patch might not fix everything at once. Therefore, we’re also planning to release another patch in mid and late March to gradually resolve the issues. Rest assured that we will not stop until the fix has been completed.”
