Now veteran players of Outriders will be able to transfer their progress between their Xbox consoles and the Windows version of the game. The hit Sci-fi RPG shooter Outriders is coming to the Microsoft Store and on Game Pass for PC.

Outriders is a co-op sci-fi third-person shooter from People Can Fly (developers of games like Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgement). This co-op shooter is set on Enoch, a hostile planet with lots of fauna that has been infected by a strange anomaly, transforming them into dangerous enemies.

Yesterday, the official Xbox website released an article announcing Outriders’ PC launch on the Microsoft Store, Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate. These are great news for Xbox and PC players. Now they will be able to transfer their progress between Xbox consoles (including the Xbox One) and the Windows version. To do this, you will need to use the same account on the platform that you want your progress to transfer.

Progress won’t be transferable between copies of Outriders from other PC storefronts like Steam or non-Xbox consoles, so having that Game Pass subscription is going to pay off more than ever with this new feature.

Outriders support crossplay, allowing players to experience the game with their friends no matter the platform. Now with this recent addition, they will be able to transfer their progress and play from another device without having to grind all the equipment or currency that they had in their previous account.

This feature can be enabled or disabled according to your preference in the settings menu, so it’s not mandatory to use it if you don’t want to.

Outriders have all the features you would come to expect from a co-op shooter right now. Loot, weapons, abilities, modifications, cosmetics, and more. One of the features that make it stand out from the rest is the convoy. The convoy is a vehicle that works as a mobile hub for the player. This mobile hub goes with the player in every mission, but that is not it. You can customize your convoy by adding several cosmetic items, changing how it looks while you are playing. If for some reason you have not played Outriders yet, go and check out our review. There you will find all the information you need about the game.

Outriders is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and Google Stadia.
