Epic Games has recently announced the formation of a brand new studio called Impossible Studios. The team currently staffing the studio is comprised of senior game development talent with a background in real-time strategy and role-playing games.
This new studio includes former employees of the now defunct Big Huge Games, which recently released Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning before being shut down due to financial concerns.
“We were so glad we could help keep this great team together,” said Epic Games’ Mike Capps in a recent statement. “We’re lucky to have them.”
Impossible Studios’ first project will be in the Infinity Blade franchise where they’ll be working on Infinity Blade: Dungeons for iOS.
