The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hearthfire has arrived on the Xbox 360 this morning. The content pack allows players to “play house” in the RPG, giving players the freedom to customize their residences. In Skyrim Hearthfire, you can purchase lands and customize your home to your heart’s content.

Using new tools made specifically for the expansion, Skyrim Hearthfire allows players to craft new items to be used in the construction of their homes or furniture within. The new content costs 400 MSP on Xbox Live.

If this sounds a little like Minecraft, that’s because it is. Bethesda recently revealed that the block building indie title was the inspiration for the Hearthfire expansion.
