Games of the Year ’14

2014 was an interesting year for gaming. We saw a lot of re-releases plus many of the big games had to be delayed until 2015. Games like Project Cars, Battlefield: Hardline, The Witcher 3 and a host of others all had to be delayed by several months and won’t be out until next year. As a result of this, 2014 kind of suffered.

Not to mention 2014 was also a year for botched launches and disappointments. Destiny was hyped up to be the best thing ever, but turned out to be repetitively boring by a lot of gamers when it came out. There were also the buggy launches for such games as Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Driveclub just to name a few.My personal top 10 list is looking very unique and I’m sure it will differ from a lot of my colleagues. There is a mix of games from all genres here and the top spot my surprise a lot of you. I just based my list on games that made me just have fun or make me laugh.

It’s also worth mentioning I don’t own every platform, nor did I get the chance to play every game. Don’t be surprised if you see I missed out on your favourite game, as I may have not had a chance to play it yet!
