The inclusion of numerous west coast “G-Funk” hits and danceable soul grooves beautifully framed Rockstar’s vision of a dysfunctional Los Angeles. Anyone who took up residence in Grove Street will remember Kool & The Gang’s Hollywood Swinging, which accompanied GTA:SA’s terrible dancing sections but made them oh-so-bearable.
