The Legend of Zelda Wii U Title Unveiling/New Footage

This is one that is hard to predict a bit, as Nintendo could wait to announce the official title at E3 this year. However, they do give a lot of the bombshell announcements to their Nintendo Directs, so it wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Hopefully we will at the very minimum get some new footage or a new trailer to quench our thirst for awhile.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Release Date Reveal

Similar to Majora’s Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is on the docket for some point early this year, with a likely release date for sometime sooner rather than later. While not exclusive to the New Nintendo 3DS, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate released in Japan alongside the New Nintendo 3DS, so it is plausible that we could see the same thing happen here. Either way, it has to be soon and a release date announcement seems likely.

One Last Kirby and The Rainbow Curse Trailer

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is almost here, releasing in exactly a month on February 13. As a result, this is the very last Nintendo Direct that we will have the opportunity to see the game get promoted, which we know Nintendo will do. Hopefully this won’t be just a simple new trailer, but perhaps the reveal of something new we don’t know about the game yet that will sell us on it even further.

Release Date and Footage for Yoshi’s Woolly World

While Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is coming next month, there is a very high likelihood Yoshi’s Woolly World will be the next big release for Wii U after that. We still haven’t seen a ton about the game, but they have said a release is coming in early 2015, so there is a good chance that Nintendo will provide us with at least the release month.

New Details And Gameplay for Mario Party 10 and Mario Maker

Both scheduled to release sometime in 2015, we haven’t seen a whole lot about Mario Party 10 and Mario Maker besides the few trailers provided so far. As two of the bigger games set to release this year that aren’t named Legend of Zelda, these two could easily get a new trailer or even a gameplay demonstration during the Nintendo Direct.

Grand Debut For Star Fox Wii U

We know it is coming and that Shigeru Miyamoto is working on it, but that is pretty much all we know game wise. During The Game Awards back in December, it was also revealed that Star Fox Wii U would be coming before The Legend of Zelda Wii U, which is almost definitely a holiday release in 2015. As a result, it would be assumed that we will see Star Fox sometime in the late summer/early fall period more than likely. A big game like this would typically be revealed officially around E3, but coming prior to the holiday season would likely require an announcement a good bit prior to E3 during something like a Nintendo Direct.
