To get Star Cards in Battlefront 2 you’ll need to get Crates.  These crates come in different types and can contain different things depending on which ones you purchase.

Logging in to Star Wars Battlefront 2 will earn you a “Daily Login Crate.”  These crates are randomly generated, but contain a mix of items.  This can be Star Cards, Credits, or Crafting Parts.

There are also three other types of crates that you can purchase with credits that you earn in the game.  These include Trooper Crates, Starfighter Crates, and Hero Crates.  As their names specify, each different type of crate will give you a chance to earn Star Cards for different units in the game.

Trooper Crates currently cost 4,000 Credits and they can contain 1 or 2 Star Cards for your Trooper classes.  Alongside this base requirement for the Trooper Crate they can also contain Hero Star Cards, Starfighter Star Cards, Special Star Cards, Vehicle Star Cards, Poses, Emotes, Weapons, and Crafting Parts.

Starfighter Crates currently cost 2,400 Credits and they can contain 1 or 2 Star Cards for Starfighters.  Alongside these cards they can also contain Trooper Star Cards, Hero Star Cards, Special Star Cards, Vehicle Star Cards, Poses, Emotes, Weapons, and Crafting Parts.

Hero Crates currently cost 2,200 Credits and they can contain 1 or 2 Star Cards for Heroes.  Like the other crates, these crates can also contain other items.

There are also a number of crates that can be earned by completing the single player campaign for Star Wars Battlefront 2.  The reward is are different crates that feature Star Cards.

There are also a number of different challenges in the game that can be viewed in the “Career” tab for Star Wars Battlefront 2.  Depending on which class you use, there are different challenges that you can complete to earn Crates that contain Star Cards for specific classes.

Ultimately, other than logging in daily, completing in-game challenges, or purchasing them with the credits that you’ve earned, there’s only one other way to get Star Cards and that’s through purchasing the Crystal Currency.

Crystals are an alternative form of currency that can used to purchase crates which feature Star Cards.  The cost is significantly less for each crate with Crystals, but you earn very few Crystals in the game itself, but they are sold as a microtransaction in the game which will allow you to purchase unlimited Crates with Star Cards.

Finally Star Cards can also be made by the player by using Crafting Parts.  For details on what Crafting Parts are and how to craft Star Cards with them check out this guide.
