Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is full of tight turns that you must get through to stay at the front of the pack in each race. This means you have to use every technique you can to try and shave off every second that you can. Some of the methods that give you boosts can really help you, while others can give you just enough of an advantage to make it worth doing. The Power Slide method is one of the latter, which this guide will tell you just how you can do in a race.

How To Power Slide In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

There are plenty of turns in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled that you can make easily without having to really brake or do anything, but there are also plenty that require you to slow down a bit to get around. Rather than reducing your speed, your best method here is to execute a Power Slide instead to keep your momentum going as you make your way around the corner.

As you’re starting to make a turn, hold down R1 on PS4, or the respective button on other platforms, and it will perform a Power Slide on the hard turn. This can also be used to turn into a Turbo Boost as well, but the Power Slide itself can be enough to help you get around corners a few seconds quicker, which is often the difference in coming in first place or not with the difficult AI found in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
