Dota Underlords How to Level Up

Leveling up in Dota Underlords allows you add more characters to your army.  Each level that you progress to will add one extra unit that you can play in each battle.  There are multiple ways to level up in Dota Underlords.  You can earn XP from battling, but you can also choose to spend gold to make the process quicker.

To use gold to level up you will simply click the level badge in the top right hand corner of the screen.  It will cost you five gold for the level-up, and there are definitely times where this can be advantageous to click before a fight, where having an extra character may give you an edge or help you keep up with your opponents.

You can see where you stand in terms of your level relative to the other players in your game by looking at the player list on the left hand side of the screen.

If you look at the player list on the left hand side of the screen, you can see how much health other players have.  In the little circle next to their name you can see what level they are, and ultimately how many characters you’ll be facing in your battle against them.  If you’re under leveled, you may be fighting a player with more units than you.

Dota Underlords is a game about utilizing your gold as efficiently as possible.  That means you’re going to need to move the XP progression along by spending gold on XP as well as using that gold to purchase new units to fight.
