Forza Horizon 3 Guide: How To Get The Halo Warthog CST As Playable Vehicle

Forza Horizon 3 officially releases later today and with that comes the best in the series thus far, which offers more than 350 different vehicles to choose from in the base game. With the series being exclusive to Microsoft, Forza Horizon 3 has a special vehicle based on the Halo franchise and we’re here to tell you how to get this.

While Forza Horizon 3 has a very impressive lineup of vehicles in the base game, one of the vehicles that people will want to get most is the Halo Warthog CST. This looks just like the Warthog that you have in the Halo series, though no turret will be found on the back of this one.

Rather than being an unlockable in-game that you can get at anytime, there are only two ways to get the Warthog at this time. The first is the easiest and one that any Halo fan that owns an Xbox should be able to get. For anyone that has played Halo: The Master Chief Collection or Halo 5: Guardians on their Xbox One before, you should have received a message through Xbox Live from Microsoft with a code that you can redeem for the Warthog CST vehicle.

If you have not played these games at all and still want to use the Warthog, you will have an opportunity in the near future. While there are no real details yet, there will be a special event held in-game at some point in October where you can earn the Warthog CST by participating.

It’s always possible they could put up the Warthog later as paid DLC, but considering that anyone that really wants it has probably played one of the two Halo games on Xbox One mentioned above, most should be able to get this with relative ease. If you have played these games and did not get a code, you may need to contact someone at Microsoft and see if they can send you a code, or just wait for the event sometime next month.
