Gears of War 4 Guide: How To Beat The Swarmak

The first time you face the Swarmak in Gears of War 4, you have to do a certain pattern. Here’s a good method to beat him to avoid having a long battle.

The first thing you need to do is find the transformers in the room and expose them. You would have been given a clue at the beginning of the chapter to know what it looks like.

To expose a transformer, there should be some stairs next to one. Head on upstairs and hit the switch using the “X” button. Once you have done that, you would have exposed the transformer.

Shoot the middle part of the exposed transformer until it explodes with electricity. The electricity will then weaken the Swarmak exposing his weak spot. The weak spots are the orange parts seen on his body.

After you have shot the orange parts, the Swarmak will recover and you have to repeat the process all over again. I think the room is full of four transformers which means you have to head upstairs four times as well. If you are struggling to see the stairs, they should be next to the transformers and transformers are big cylinders. You are unlikely to miss them.

During the battle, the Swarmak will like to conjure up minions. It’s best to try and kill off the minions too because things can get hectic if they keep shooting at you. Not to mention avoid getting hit from the big Swarmak.

Anyway, if you repeat the process four times, you should have killed the Swarmak in Gears of War 4. Obviously harder difficulties means it won’t be easy so just keep rolling and finding cover to avoid gunfire.
