The Stun Gun in Prey can be found pretty quickly if use a little outside of the box thinking during the early game. Upon awakening in the real world, Morgan Yu will head into Talos 1 for the first time. This is a pretty linear path, one where you’ll get your second weapon in the Gloo Gun.
The Gloo Gun has many uses, like being able to create platforms for you to stand on. This is precisely what you’ll need to do to get early access to the Disruptor Stun Gun in Prey. Immediately after you pick-up the Gloo Gun and the accompanying ammunition, head up the make-shift ramp of the knocked-over computer. Once up, you’ll notice there’s room to move forward and out to a more open area.
Once you make it to the drop-off just use the Gloo Gun to create a platform on the side of the wall. Depending on where you place the Gloo, you may need to make two steps before you can reach the second floor. Once you do make it to the second floor, just follow it around to the right to the dead body. That body will have the Stun Gun and some ammunition for you.
The Disruptor Stun Gun isn’t an overly powerful weapon, but it works well on humans, and can stun Typhon enemies momentarily giving you time to pull out a more powerful weapon, like the Q Beam.
You can always come back and get the Stun Gun pretty easily by fixing the lift to the second floor, but if you want it before you get any Necromods this is the way to do it. There’s a quick video below, detailing how to snag the Stun Gun.
