Super Smash Bros. Ultimate How to Get More Tickets

Tickets are one of the currencies used in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Classic Mode that allow you to continue when you die in a battle.  These Classic Tickets can be spent when trying to max out your rewards for a high intensity run in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. through the six levels and boss battle that will be found in a Classic Mode run.

When playing Classic Mode, players can change the intensity level of the game.  The higher you set the intensity level the harder it will be to make it to the boss and beat them.  However, the higher your intensity the more rewards that you’ll earn in the mode.  If you die, you really only have two options if you wish to continue.  You can either spend gold currency or Classic Tickets to continue.

There is a big distinction between these two currencies.  Gold is a fairly common currency that you will accrue almost every time you play Classic Mode.  Classic Tickets are a little bit more rare.  Gold will allow you to continue, but it will also bump the intensity down a bit.  Classic Tickets, on the other hand, will allow you to continue where you left off with no penalty.  Unless you really feel over-matched, Classic Tickets seem like the way to go, but you only have so many of them and you’ll need to earn more.

How to Get More Classic Tickets in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

There are a couple of ways to unlock more tickets in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.  The first is through completing milestone challenges in the mode.   You can also earn Tickets as a reward for completing a run of Classic Mode.  After many playthrough at different intensity levels, it does seem that there is a higher chance for more tickets when playing at a higher intensity.

Tickets aren’t entirely necessary if you’re just in Classic Mode to unlock characters quickly.  In fact, they will actually make your life harder as they will keep the difficulty up when you die.  If you’re trying to unlock characters, continuing with Gold Coins is probably the way to go.  If you’re in Classic Mode for the other unlocks, make sure you’re stocked up with tickets before you go trying high intensity playthroughs.
