Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has multiple collectibles along the way that you will need to make it through the game, including Quills and T.W.I.T. Coins. Both of these are requirements to make your way through the game entirely and this guide will specifically focus on how to acquire more T.W.I.T. Coins in the game.

While Quills are the more common item that you’ll find throughout each stage, with no set number per one, T.W.I.T. Coins are much more limited in Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. You will only find five of these each within each stage for a grand total of 200 in the game.

T.W.I.T. Coins are not just easy to find in these stages either, with them being more hidden during the stages. Some of these are much more obvious, while others you may have to play a level many times to find. Some of the more obvious ones can be found within big boxes with a dollar sign on the side.

The hidden ones, however, will require you to check every nook and cranny of the stage. This will mean looking for gaps above that you can make your way up into, finding holes you can drop into or break into with your Buddy Slam, and much more.

The T.W.I.T. Coins are numbered throughout the game, with a 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coin to be found. Each of them have the respective number on one side and then a dollar sign on the other. The number can help you narrow down where to find other of the coins in the stage, as they are found in the order they are numbered. This means if you have the 2 and 4 coins already, you know the 3 has to be somewhere between them.

You don’t have to collect all 200 coins in Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, but try to get as many as you can since you will need them to deal with Trowzer and his Paywalls throughout the game.
