Arrow TV Star Takes Aim at WWE 2K16 Inclusion

by William Schwartz

Stephen Amell of television’s Arrow series recently got a chance to hop in the ring with WWE wrestlers at Monday Night Raw a few months back.  In WWE fashion, a rivalry developed that landed Ammel in an upcoming match to take place at SummerSlam 2015.

Apparently Amell may not be content with just this real-life wrestling, he may be pushing for an inclusion in WWE 2K16.  When fans suggested that Green Arrow/Amell be included in the game, the actor replied “On it,” suggesting that his people may talk to their people to make it happen.

With Arrow being an incredibly popular television series, it might be in 2K’s best interest to push for the inclusion.  While WWE 2K16 is slated for a fall release, it’s a possibility that the actor could be immortalized in video game form via downloadable content.  While that’s just speculation on the statement from Amell it could very well happen.  After all, the Terminator is a pre-order bonus for the game.

WWE 2K16 is going to bring about some new changes to the game.  Create-A-Diva is returning, and players will also be able to create arenas and championships.  An expanded MyCareer mode over last year’s offering will let players wrestle their way into the WWE Hall of Fame.

WWE 2K16 is slated for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 on October 27th.
