If leaks are to be believed, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s next DLC might be called Dawn of Ragnarök. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has already had a good one year when it comes to expansions and DLC, with Ubisoft affirming players that they will be coming “with exciting and new news and surprising” announcements for the second year.
The new leak about the Dawn of Ragnarök expansion comes via an Assassin’s Creed data miner going by the name of j0nathan. In his recent video, the leaker shares various new details about Dawn of Ragnarök, which he has found from the game’s latest patch. The video reveals new concept art and details that give away the expansion’s name and achievements/trophy list.
As per Eurogamer’s translation of the video, the datamined content hints that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s third expansion will be titled Dawn of Ragnarök and take place in Svartalfheim and will continue Evior’s journey forward. The first two DLCs of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla were pretty decent and Ubisoft would want the alleged Dawn of Ragnarök DLC to be on par or better than the first two.
Earlier, Ubisoft had shared concept art for the Muspelheim, which was absent from the real game. But this new leak attests that the Muspelheim units are looking to infiltrate Svartalfheim in this Dawn of Ragnarök expansion. There are achievements and trophies for completing “all territories of Svartalfheim,” locating “all Dwarven Shelters,” and “fully upgrading Odin’s Bracer.”
In terms of achievements, there is one for eliminating “30 enemies with an Atgeir” while another one asks you to“teleport assassinate two enemies and fly away without being detected.” There are even abilities that your character Eivor might get with this new Dawn of Ragnarök DLC. Abilities include going invisible for a short time, the ability to fly like a crow, teleportation arrows, some ice powers, and the capability to resurrect a fallen enemy. However, these are just leaks and without Ubisoft’s official word, take all of this with a grain of salt.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has already received two story expansions up until this point. The first was Wrath of the Druids that came out in May, while the second was The Siege of Paris, which arrived in August. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has performed well and has managed to carry the franchise forward. And if this new leak is accurate, then the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC might take the narrative forward. The community appreciated the move of supporting the game with new DLCs and content and Ubisoft would want to cash in on the opportunity.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, Microsoft Windows.
