Kylo Ren has a lot of fans, yet several people feel he’s too emo. Former WWE wrestler and actor Dave Bautista (Batista) doesn’t sound like he’s a fan of the character.

A fan asked the Batista on Twitter if he’d be keen on playing Darth Bane if a theoretical Star Wars TV show was greenlit to be on Netflix.

He replied with: “I would play Darth Bane at the local dinner theater!! Everyone in the audience would be terrified! Unfortunately emo-villains seem to be the trend. I wouldn’t fit that mold. Thank god!

This is a little dig on Kylo Ren as some people felt he was too emo. The same kind of criticism was directed to Hayden Christensen who played Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels.

Batista’s biggest role is Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. However, he most recently played Mr Hinx who was mostly a silent villain in SPECTRE.

It would be interesting if he is to play a villain in the Star Wars universe one day. However, this might depend on the type of roles that they are going for.
