The Battlefield: Hardline Beta is scheduled to begin on February 3rd, but Xbox One owners are finding the beta available now in the Xbox Store. You’ll need to search specifically for “Battlefield: Hardline Beta” to find the content, as a search for Battlefield: Hardline does not bring up the download link.
Some users are reporting being able to launch the game once the 10.75 GB download is complete, and those who have allegedly downloaded the game on Xbox One are reporting that they can play on servers, and that player count is rising fast as news spreads of the early release.
The Battlefield: Hardline Beta is the second of its type for the game. Following E3 2014, EA and Visceral Games tested the waters with a one map alpha for the shooter. This beta for the game is a bit bigger. Players will be able to tackle three maps, a number of different modes, and experience the full progression system. The Battlefield: Hardline Beta will run from February 3rd to February 8th, and will be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360.
The full release of Battlefield: Hardline is slated for March 17th, 2015.
