Creators of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP Tease New Title

by William Schwartz

Capybara Games, the people behind the still amazing Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP,  have teased a new title to be revealed this weekend at PAX East in Boston.

For anyone that was a fan of the pixelated action-adventure/music title that broke the fourth wall any chance it got, this is welcome news. The Canadian studio took to Twitter to leak the single image of their in the works title. It’s not much. And your guess is as good as ours. A pile of capybara and a car mounted on a lift…

Could end up being a title about the difficulty of automotive maintenance without opposable thumbs. Sure, that sounds about right. The title is being developed  by Capybara artist Vic Nguyen and programmer Ken Yeung and as we get closer to PAX we’re looking forward to hearing more about the title. No word on which platforms the pixelated romp will be released for. Also, for real, if you’ve never played Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP you’re doing yourself a massive disservice. We will know more as PAX gets underway this weekend. Let us know what you think of the image and give a guess as to what the game is about.
