DC Universe Online has had it’s fair share of content since release and now part two of the War Of The Light DLC has been revealed.
Part two of the War Of The Light trilogy, and the overall twelfth (12th) DLC pack for DC Universe Online is a big deal. It marks the first time that players will be able to travel to Zamaron and Qward as well as the first appearance of Carol Farris and the Star Sapphires in DC Universe Online. Announced today on the DCUO website and later detailed by Jens Andersen, the games Senior Creative Director. War Of The Light Part 2 will have players continue to unravel the story behind the Emotional Spectrum. It will also introduce six new adventures which include new daiy and solo missions, a new duo and a new four-player Alert. New four and eight player operations will take place throughout Metropolis, Oa, Qward and Zamaron, the home world of the Star Sapphires. New collections, feats, gear and base items will be included in the DLC as well as six new skill points.
Players should be excited as the second part is always the best or as Jens Andersen puts it, “The second arc of a trilogy is always the juiciest. In War of the Light Part II, the storyline is more complex – we’ve added new obstacles, never before seen worlds and a new Lantern Corps – the Star Sapphires. These fierce, powerful and passionate Corps fight for the entity of love, making the battle between good and evil not so black and white, which presents players with a unique challenge.” Hopefully the wait won’t be a long one for fans.
DC Universe Online’s War Of The Light Part 2 will release later this year on PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
