Blizzard has been talking about Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer for some time, we even got to check it out back at PAX East giving our impressions here. Now the new DLC is finally set to arrive on June 27th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, bringing a new class to the company’s long running and hugely successful game. The expansion will cost $14.99 across all platforms.

Rise of the Necromancer marks a big return for Diablo 3, bringing a fan favorite character class to the latest title in the franchise. Outside of that, the DLC adds some fresh content to explore, but the new class is what has most fans really excited.

“Comprised of controlled, calculating individuals, the Priests of Rathma have long known the true stakes at the heart of the Eternal Conflict,” explains Blizzard. “Known to uneducated outsiders as Necromancers, these masters of blood, bone, and the dark arts are often misunderstood. Driven to protect the Balance at all costs, those dedicated to walking this path see neither good nor evil in their actions; simply obedience to the cycle of being.”

Be sure to check out our impressions for more info about this new Diablo 3 DLC, and watch for more info as the June 27th release date gets even closer.
