It won’t come as a huge surprise to fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise, that Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is set to feature 100’s of hours of content when the game releases. A recent quote from Bethesda PR puts the game’s main storyline at an unconfirmed “20-30 hours to complete”.  That’s running about par for the course of an Elder Scrolls title.  Although, some of the best content of Elder Scrolls games is tucked away in the nooks and crannies of the game world in the game’s many side-quests that branch off to further expand on the world.

Because of this, fans of the games usually end up spending much more time than just what it takes to complete the main quest line.  The PR went further to confirm that “in terms of play length there are literally hundreds of hours of content depending on how much you explore.”
