After releasing the latest update patch in Star Wars Battlefront, EA has now teased what the Outer Rim DLC pack will look like when it comes out next month.
The image you see above is a teaser for the Outer Rim DLC pack. It is in Tatooine and the building in the background is Jabba’s Palace. It is believed there will be a map that will take place inside of the palace itself.
EA noted on the official forums that the new Star Wars Battlefront DLC will include “more maps, weapons, star cards, heroes, level cap increase, and an all-new multiplayer game mode.”
The Outer Rim pack is the first paid DLC expansion for the game. A standalone price for the DLC has not been revealed yet, but it is included in the $49.99 Season Pass. The Season Pass includes all of the four expansion packs that will be released in the coming months.
All of the new maps and characters will be based off of the original trilogy only. Sadly, EA and DICE had to respect canon so they couldn’t add the likes of Kylo Ren or Darth Maul into the game.
