Free PlayStation Games in July 2019 for PS Plus

Sony has announced their lineup of free PlayStation games for July 2019 for PS Plus subscribers.  This month, PS Plus subscribers will effectively get three games in total instead of the previously announced two.  Sony had originally said that PS Plus owners would be getting Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 as part of the month’s free games, but has announced that they are replacing that entry with Detroit: Become Human.

While this might not be great news for those who were anticipating Pro Evolution Soccer, the version of Detroit: Become Human that they are giving away in July is the Digital Deluxe Edition which comes with Heavy Rain.  So PS Plus subscribers will get two Quantic Dream titles in July with Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human.

Alongside these two, the other free PlayStation game for July is Horizon Chase Turbo.

All of these titles will be available for PS Plus subscribers from July 2nd through August 5th.  To download the free games with your PS Plus subscription you can head to the PlayStation Store via your console or web browser and add them to your account prior to August 5th.
