Earlier this week it was confirmed that Captain Phasma will be back to be included in Star Wars: Episode 8. Now we have confirmation that another villain from Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens is coming back too.

Star Wars: Episode 8 director, Rian Johnson, confirmed the return of General Hux while replying to a fan on Twitter. The fan asked a strange question if any red heads will be featured in the new film and Johnson replied by showing a photo of General Hux.

Hux’s inclusion in the new movie is to be expected as he was third in command of The First Order behind Snoke and Kylo Ren. The Force Awakens did tease that Hux and Kylo Ren were jockeying for the second position as both men do things differently. Kylo Ren is erratic yet more physically powerful, while Hux does things more by the book.

Hux’s return wasn’t the only thing that Johnson shared on his Twitter. A few days ago, Anthony Daniels tweeted out that he’s read the story of Episode 8 already and teased if he should share some details with his followers. Johnson replied back to Daniels by posting a funny photo of Han Solo covering C3-P0’s mouth.

Star Wars: Episode 8 does not come out until December 2017. However, Star Wars: Rogue One can tide fans over when it comes out in December 2016. There is also the newly announced LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens game coming out in June.
