It looks like Infinity Ward has some sort of cooperative mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts up their sleeves. This weekend, Candice Capen from Infinity Ward relayed to fans that there will be co-op, but they don’t have any specific details to share about the mode.

“We’ll have a cooperative mode of sort,” says Capen. “We’re not announcing it yet, and I’ve no clue when/if we will.”

So it looks like we’ll be playing the guessing game until they decide to share details about the mode. Modern Warfare 3 saw a brand new addition in the cooperative side of online play. Spec-Ops missions gave players the ability to team up and tackle levels from the game’s competitive multiplayer. The mode saw numerous iterations and gametypes arrive via DLC like the popular Chaos Mode.

Cooperative modes have proven to be pretty popular from both Infinity Ward and Treyarch. Following the success of the popular Zombies mode in Call of Duty: World at War, Infinity Ward was prompted to follow the lead of Treyarch and incorporate their own take on teamwork.

Will they be going back to the drawing board? Or will Spec Ops Return? What’s your preference?
