EA and Bioware have temporarily reduced the price of Star Wars: The Old Republic, to commemorate Star Wars Day. Yes, it’s a thing. Bioware’s massively multiplayer adventure in the Star Wars universe launched last December, and there hasn’t been a better time to enlist. Normally, the MMO’s base cost is $59.99 plus the monthly subscription plan that you choose. Today, the Standard Edition has been discounted to $34.99.

You’ve got a couple days to think on it, the sale will run until May 6th.

Last month, SWTOR saw Game Update 1.2 “The Legacy Update”, which brought a ton of new content to a game already bursting at the seams with quests to take on. At its core though, the Legacy system allows players to tie unique abilities to their character, and others in their legacy group, as well as unlock unique species, and convenience items.
