2K Sports has announced that Kobe Bryant will be added as one of the cover stars in NBA 2K17. He will be included in a “Legend Edition” that will be released alongside the normal version.
2K Sports made the announcement today on Twitter. The timing was done on purpose because today is the last time that Kobe Bryant will be playing in the NBA. The man will retire today after dominating the NBA scene for many years.
The Legend Edition of NBA 2K17 will celebrate the career of Kobe Bryant. It might be similar to NBA 2K11 as that game focused on the many famous achievements that Michael Jordan accumulated over his illustrious career.
Bryant’s influence in the NBA is not to be forgotten. The man won five NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are also the team that he has stayed with for his entire career. He didn’t get traded or anything like that.
It will be interesting to see the iconic moments that will be included in NBA 2K17. One of my favorite highlights was when he scored 81 points in one game. I also liked how he won the Slam Dunk contest when he was young.
