Sony have announced their lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in August. As per usual, PlayStation 4 users receive three free games, with action-puzzler Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris and atmospheric indie title Limbo leading the way. We praised Temple of Osiris for its action-packed fun and Limbo is heralded as one of the most impressive indie titles of the last generation.
Platformer Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones is also available to download for PS4 users, as is music game Sound Shapes; both are also free to download on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. PS3 and Vita owners also get a helping of 2D strategy title CastleStorm, and Kratos’ most recent outing in the popular God of War series is available to PlayStation 3 owners in the form of God of War: Ascension.
The games will be made available on August 4th, so be sure to download July’s free offerings while you still can, particularly the stupidly fun Rocket League and stealth title Styx: Master of Shadows.
