No Man’s Sky might not be a PS4 Console Exclusive

Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky will debut on the PlayStation 4 when it finally arrives, but it might not be an exclusive. Hello Games Twitter account recently made clear that they’ve yet to announce any console exclusivity for their upcoming exploration game.

The procedurally generated space exploration game is at tippy top of many gamer’s wish lists, after stealing the show at both the Spike VGX awards and E3. When one fan asked Hello Games about being awarded the “Best PlayStation Exclusive” by Game Trailers, they corrected the fan, and told them that those were Game Trailer’s words, and not theirs.

“‘PlayStation Exclusive’ was @gametrailers phrase, not ours — No Man’s Sky is having its console debut on PS4,” reads the message.

With Hello Games getting out in front of this messaging early, it’s looking likely that the game will release on other platforms (Xbox One) in due time.
