Even though many Microsoft execs heralded 2015 as Xbox’s greatest games lineup ever, the company feels 2016 could even be bigger and better.

DualShockers had a chance to interview Aaron Greenberg who is the head of marketing at Xbox.

Greenberg said: “We expect next year to be an even bigger year for games. We expect there to be more games, we expect there to be more games sold, all up for the business, so we’re really kinda hitting our stride in this point in the console generation

The list of games that he mentions include Halo Wars 2, Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves, ReCore, Killer Instinct and more. He forgot to mention Quantum Break and Scalebound in the interview as well. All of these games are Xbox One exclusives.

2015 was already decent for Xbox gamers. It started off with smaller games such as Ori and the Blind Forest and Screamride. After that came the pair of remakes with Rare Replay and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

During the latter part of 2015, Halo 5: Guardians and Forza Motorsport 6 came out. Rise of the Tomb Raider might be a timed exclusive, but the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms are the only way you can play the game in 2015.

Do you agree that the Xbox One game lineup is better in 2016, or do you prefer what was released in 2015?
