The studio formed by ex-Criterion developers called Three Fields Entertainment has revealed that the first new game they are working on as a new company will appeal to both Burnout and Black fans. While we’ve been teased for a while now on what they have been working on, the dev’s Alex Ward took to Twitter to tease fans even more.

Through a message on Twitter Alex Wards said that, “If you like #Burnout and you liked #BLACK then you might just like this first game we’ve made at @3FieldsEnt.” Funnily enough, even though this would seem like a game that mixes the cars of Burnout and the guns of Black, Ward confirmed to an inquiring fan that the game will contain neither guns nor cars.

According to Three Field’s Entertainment, the game is, “an original new game – an innovative new twist on a sports game that’s fast, funny and heavy on social multiplayer.” The game appears to be pretty far along, so it would seem that a reveal happening sometime soon isn’t out of the question.

It has been a while since we have had another Burnout or another Black game, as the last game in the Burnout series was 2008’s Burnout Paradise and Black originally launched in 2006.
