Konami has now revealed gameplay footage of PES 2015 and the game is looking better than last year.
PES 2015 marks the series’ debut for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. After successfully using the Fox Engine in PES 2014, PES 2015 takes the engine even further. Arguably, the game might be graphically better than EA’s FIFA 15 at the moment.
Xbox Achievements reported about PES 2015 that gives us more information. Konami managed to secure more licenses this year so the game will have more official players and kits. It also keeps the UEFA Champions League license which is the only thing missing in EA’s games.
It’s been many years since football fans have been treated to a decent PES title. Many fans of the series regarded PES 6 released in 2006 to be the last good one. PES 2014 took strides in the right direction and this new game looks like it can exceed expectations. Will it be able to beat FIFA 15? Probably not, but there was a time football fans preferred PES over FIFA games.
PES 2015 will be released on September 26th.
