Sony has issued their monthly list of top sellers from the official PlayStation Store for May 2017. This list is limited to digital purchases and downloads from the PS Store, so they aren’t necessarily the best selling games on PS4, but they’re at least way up there. We see the expected Injustice 2 right at the top, with some surprises down the list, including the not extremely well received Friday the 13th taking the second spot.
The PSVR list doesn’t feature the same level of surprise, but it’s good to see some new games topping the charts. The PSVR exclusive Farpoint won the month, with the excellent Star Trek: Bridge Crew taking second place. Star Trek came out later in the month, and has built up more word of mouth excitement, so it will be interesting to see how June shakes out.
