Fans of the Pokemon franchise are still waiting for the all but confirmed Pokemon Z to be announced, with rumors that might be happening in the next few weeks. In the meantime, the Pokemon Company is bringing the US a new legendary Pokemon that has been given away in just about every region by now except the US with Hoopa.
Hoopa was first leaked through datamining a good while ago, but it has taken this long for the distribution of this new legendary. However, while we typically have these distribution events at places like GameStop, this one is going to be at an unexpected location.
According to Serebii, the Hoopa event will be held at McDonald’s starting on November 27 and will run through December 23. This news was originally posted on the official US website, but was was removed for the time being.
No futher details were revealed as to how this distribution will take place. We don’t know if it will be a case where you can just download Hoopa through a Nintendo Zone point at McDonalds or if they could by chance provide download codes with say a Happy Meal purchase or something.
This event Hoopa will be able to be obtained in Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. With this event set to start in a little under a month, exact details should be revealed in the near future, so stay tuned and we’ll make sure to bring you that information.
