Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire Receives Anime Inspired Trailer

by Dean James

The next great adventures in the long running Pokemon series is almost here with the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire this coming Friday, November 21. To celebrate the occasion, The Pokemon Company has once again dipped into the anime side of the series for a special trailer.

Exclusive to the Japanese Pokemon Company YouTube page, a special trailer has been released based on the two games with an anime style. This isn’t the first time that we got something similar from them either, as they did the same thing prior to the release of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 a couple years ago.

Considering how popular the anime series still is, it is neat to get something like this, as the series itself has always been quite different from the games. The closest to the games we’ve gotten was the Pokemon Origins special last year, which is just about like the anime style found in this trailer.

The video even includes the three new Mega Evolutions of each starter, which is great to see finally in anime form. In addition, the trailer showcases many of the other new Mega Evolutions being introduced for the first time in the game. This tease really does make me want another Pokemon Origins like special based on the Hoenn region, but for now this is all that we will get.
