The street date for Pokken Tournament has already been broken by a specific retailer in Germany. In Germany, the game has a different name which might be funny to some people.

A NeoGAF user noted that his local Saturn retailer in Frankfurt are already selling Pokken Tournament. The worldwide release date is not until March 18th, 2016. They are selling it for quite a hefty 59.99 Euros.

Another user posted on MyDealz that his Saturn retailer in Hamburg is also selling the game early. The price for the game in Hamburg is slightly cheaper as it is 54.99 Euros. If you live in Germany, you have a chance to own the game before anyone else can.

In Germany however, the game is called Pokemon Tekken. They used Pokemon in there because the word “Pocken” in German means chicken pox. Come to think of it, Pokemon Tekken actually sounds better as that is what the game is actually about. It’s a Pokemon fighting game made by the developers of the Tekken series.

Pokken Tournament is a Wii U exclusive as it is based on the arcade video game that came out in Japan last year. The Wii U version adds some new characters that were not featured in the original arcade release.
