Project Cars has been announced to be released in November 2014 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The Wii U version will be missing this release window however.

Bandai Namco has now confirmed that the Wii U version of Project Cars will not be released until sometime in 2015. If you own a Wii U, you will have to wait a bit longer to play the game.

Bandai Namco left the following statement to Eurogamer: : “We’re committed to delivering an exceptional and unique experience for racing fans on Wii U and for this we kindly ask our devoted and passionate Nintendo fans for a little more time in order to ensure the game delivers on our vision of being the most authentic, beautiful, and technically-advanced racing game on any platform.”

Project Cars joins Watch Dogs as another big release that has had a delayed Wii U version. Watch Dogs has been out for quite a while for everyone else. Ubisoft however hasn’t updated anyone on when the Wii U version of the game is coming out. Unlike with Project Cars though, Watch Dogs is still expected to be released in 2014.

Most major gaming publishers have been shy on releasing games for the Wii U. This is sadly in response to the low sales of the console.
