Sony has announced on the official PlayStation Twitter page that PS4 update 2.03 should be available very soon.
Here’s what was announced on the PlayStation Twitter:
“Heads-up: PS4 system software update v2.03 arrives later tonight, and will help improve usage of some applications.”
The new PS4 update should be available very shortly and it sounds like it’s not a big one. It could just be a standard stability update that makes sure all of the applications run smoothly.
PS4 updates are important so you will need to download them when you can. This update is small, so hopefully it won’t take too long for you to download and install.
The last big PS4 update was version 2.00. This was the one that brought us many big features such as SharePlay, dynamic themes and more.
It’s unknown when Sony will be releasing another huge PS4 update. It’s possible the next big update will not be coming until 2015. Until then, we will just have to make do with the minor ones that will make the PS4 consoles more stable.
Hopefully this new PS4 update is released without any hassles. Some updates in the past have caused more harm than good. This one sounds like it shouldn’t be too much of a problem though.
