Pokemon Sun and Moon are almost upon us, but the previous generation of Pokemon games have still been getting new content through the event distribution Pokemon that have been available each month. With the year nearly over, there are only two more to go and November’s is now available.
From now through November 24, you will be able to get a free Level 100 Genesect for use in your Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire games. Genesect is a Bug/Steel type and this specific one has the ability Download with the moves Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, Solar Beam, and Signal Beam.
Like some of the distributions that have been held this year, Genesect is going to require a little more work than just booting up your game and downloading via Mystery Gift. Instead, you will have to visit a GameStop store and get a special card that holds a code that you can use in Mystery Gift to get it.
Like we’ve told you on previous giveaways, you do not have to make a purchase to get this, even though some GameStop employees likely will try to make you feel like you need to. I wouldn’t definitely expect to be able to get more than one card either, but that may depend on your local store.
Make sure to stop by any GameStop before November 24 and get your special card and code to download your own Genesect.
