Well, that escalated quickly.  When Boss Key Productions said they were moving on from Lawbreakers, they meant it .  Radical Heights, has been revealed today as the game that they recently alluded to in a recent statement to LawBreakers owners in which they revealed their plans to stop actively developing the title and start working on a “passion project.”  Apparently that passion project is a free-to-play Battle Royale third-person shooter.

In the transition it appears that Boss Key will be self-publishing their next game, and going the early-access route for Radical Heights which is described as an “X-Treme Early Access Battle Royale Shooter.”

While the Battle Royale genre has been getting flooded lately, with newcomers to the genre finding it hard to keep up with Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds — Radical Heights does appear to be bringing its own ideas to the table.

The game is a third-person shooter where players fight in what seems to be some sort of futuristic game show.  Players will look to uncover cash, weapons, gadgets, and cosmetics that will help them survive… so, maybe it’s not so different than every other Battle Royale game out there.  The theme does sound different though.

You can check out the first gameplay for Radical Heights below, and the game will go live on Steam Early Access on April 10th.
